Cousins vs Threes Up

My Sundays has turned into an obstacle course of late. Aside from playing in the Silver Division in the mornings and driving all the way to Carson High School each evening for my NAU league, I find myself fighting time. So how do I find any time to photograph the game of the week? After finishing the morning games, I wait until my daughter takes her afternoon nap giving me one to two hours of free time to head out to a random gym. So it’s not a coincidence most of the games are around 1:00 to 2:00 PM. A special thanks to my wife for putting up with my hectic Sundays.

On to the game…

Cousins came out full throttled while Threes Up couldn’t buy a basketball. I believe the score was like 13 to zero at one point.Threes Up eventually settled down and turned it into a close game. It was actually very physical as the referees allow both teams to battle it out.
The second half.
Cousins led the entire game as Threes Up fought their way back into the game. At one point it was a four point game as a player from Threes Up went to the free throw line for two. Intentionally trying to miss the second one, the player somehow banked in it.
A quick foul but with only two seconds left on the clock, Cousins squeaked out the win. Box score
